We’re a 100% LIVE Bavarian style oompah band! Formed in 2002, we’re the perfect band to inject some fun in to your event! Our show is sure to have you singing, dancing and laughing along, not to mention the swaying – obligatory at any German night!

We’ve packed out theatres and nightclubs and entertained all service branches of the armed forces, from junior ranks to the Officers’ Mess. We’re regular visitors to the Bierkellers at Taunton and Nuneaton and from 2015 until 2018 we were the resident band at Cardiff Bierkeller.

DIE DORF FK OOMPAH BAND

Die Dorf Fest Kapelle Oompah Band is the UK’s leading Oktoberfest party band. We have a wealth of experience and have travelled the world, performing at a wide variety of events, from the Oktoberfest at Clarke Quay in Singapore, to performing on stage with the amazing German Schlager superstar, Peter Wackel in Nürnberg! We are an extremely versatile oompah band and can tailor our show to suit your event. Whether you’re after traditional waltzes and polkas, German party schlager hits, well-known pop songs, or a mixture of everything, we will ensure that you and your guests enjoy an authentic Oktoberfest-style evening.

DDFK Oompah Band Fully Fronted Vocal Show

If you’re looking for the full Oktoberfest experience, then this is the option for you. It is perfect for beer festivals and any kind of Oktoberfest-themed party. We start the show with a selection of the most popular Schlager hits. These can include Olaf Henning’s ‘Cowboy und Indianer’, DJ Ötzi’s ‘Anton aus Tirol’ and our good friend Peter Wackel’s ‘Scheiss Drauf’. These are followed by some English hits that made their way to Munich, including ‘Hey Baby’ and ‘Living Next Door to Alice’. We then finish with some of our favourite songs that we know will fill the dance floor. We have a large catalogue of songs, and we are happy to take requests on the night, but if you have a specific song request, please let us know in advance and we will get it arranged for you.

DDFK Oompah Band Instrumental Strolling Show

Our instrumental show is a fantastic option if you’re looking for a fun-filled event, with plenty of upbeat party music, just without any vocals or a frontman. This works well for corporate events, as well as weddings and birthday parties. We will get right in amongst your guests (if that’s what you want!) and get everyone in the party mood. We’ll do our best to ensure that everyone is up dancing and singing by the end of the night. This is also a good option if set-up time is limited as we don’t normally use PA when strolling.

If you think you might like to book our instrumental show, but can’t quite imagine how it works, then why not come down and see for yourself at the wonderful bierkeller, Munich Cricket Club in London. We play there every Thursday and Saturday night, so drop us a message if you’re planning on coming down. We may even have a beer with you!

DDFK Oompah Band Entertainment Tailored to Your Event

We can also provide a more traditional strolling show, with German waltzes and polkas. This works well as background music during dinner functions and drinks receptions etc. If you’re after more of a mixture, do let us know and we will tailor our show to your event.

The Band Leader Helmut von Munchenhausen is the leader, MC and founder of the Oompah Stompers. Dressed up in all the German gear he is a grosse presence on stage.

He gets everyone up, dancing, gaming and laughing and will give everyone a truly memorable night! 

Oompah Stompers comprises of some of the best brass, wind and percussion players in the UK.

THE EDELWEISS BAVARIAN SHOWBAND

They are the Oompah Band to the stars! Having performed for Ant & Dec, Stephen Mulhern, Dermot O’Leary, Keith Lemon, Vernon Kay, plus many more!

Their show includes games, audience participation, sing-a-long, and lots of dancing. They get everyone swaying from side to side in time to the music, just like in traditional Bavarian halls.

The band has completed successful tours to Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Ireland, UAE, & Guernsey.

They perform two x 45 minute sets of non-stop music, fun and games.

The 1st set is traditional Bavarian music, with a lot of audience participation! Plenty of hand clapping, swaying, and thigh slapping involved!

The 2nd set is the “party set” to get everyone up dancing. This set includes more audience participation, as well as dancing classics such as Hey Baby, Rock Around The Clock, Delilah, Sweet Caroline, Daydream Believer, YMCA, The Can Can, Hey Baby, Amarillo, Don’t Stop Me Now, & Wipeout. The final number is always New York New York which brings the evening to a rousing finale.
